# AI startup Nanoforge AI secures 14.6 billion KRW in seed funding

Nanoforge AI, an AI-based new material development startup, has secured seed funding amounting to 14.6 billion KRW. The funding round included existing investors such as Future Play and Mashup Ventures, as well as new investors like Mirae Asset Venture Investment, DSC Investment, KDB Industrial Bank, and Ecopro Partners. With this latest investment, Nanoforge AI's total funding raised has exceeded 15 billion KRW.

Founded in 2025, Nanoforge AI specializes in atom-level AI-based material prediction and design technologies, working on the design and verification of industrial new materials for sectors like semiconductors and batteries. The company has also appointed Professor Yoo Seung-hwa from KAIST as a technical advisor.
