# Nvidia denies RTX 5090 production halt, sales will continue

Nvidia officially denied reports that the production of the GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has been halted and confirmed that sales of the flagship Blackwell graphics card will continue. However, the company acknowledged that supply chain constraints remain in place. Nvidia stated that the product's lifespan has not expired. The GeForce RTX 5090 was the center of significant discussions last week. Various sources suggested that Nvidia had stopped allocating the GB202 GPU to its partners, which could indicate the end of the flagship Blackwell graphics card.

Nonetheless, Nvidia rejected claims regarding the expiration of the Blackwell graphics card's lifespan. On October 16, following the RTX Spark launch event held in Taipei, Nvidia's Senior Vice President Jeff Fisher stated that the production of the GeForce RTX 5090 has not been stopped. Although Fisher acknowledged that supply chain capacity remains limited, he emphasized that Nvidia is doing everything possible to bring its products to market. He also pointed out the importance of the GeForce series in Nvidia's overall business structure, stating that the company could not have reached its current position in the artificial intelligence sector without gaming-oriented graphics cards and the CUDA ecosystem.

Reiterating that the RTX 5090 remains an important product, Fisher expressed Nvidia's intention to continue its sales.
