# Saudi Aramco acquires 49% stake in AI firm HUMAIN

On November 1, Saudi Aramco announced its acquisition of a 49% stake in the artificial intelligence startup HUMAIN, which was fully controlled by the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund PIF. PIF will retain the remaining 51% stake. Aramco plans to invest approximately 9,900,000,000 CNY by transferring key artificial intelligence assets and capital. Both shareholders will contribute their respective artificial intelligence assets, capabilities, and talent to oversee HUMAIN's business expansion plans.

Aramco expects to leverage HUMAIN's artificial intelligence infrastructure to transform advanced capabilities into industrial applications, thereby enhancing its global ecosystem and operational capabilities.
