# Synology launches FC600 Fisheye 360-degree camera with AI capabilities

Synology has launched the FC600, a Fisheye surveillance camera designed for indoor installation. It features a compact design with a resolution of 6MP, providing 360-degree panoramic visibility along with AI analytics processed on the device itself. The FC600 supports both cloud and on-premises usage.

The FC600 records HDR video at a resolution of 2560 × 2560 at 30 frames per second, covering a comprehensive view in all directions. It includes high-powered infrared LED for night vision up to 10 meters. The camera incorporates a dewarping system, allowing for quad view (4R) and dual 180-degree view (2P) display modes, enabling a single camera to monitor wide areas that would typically require multiple devices. It can be installed on ceilings or walls, making it suitable for offices, retail stores, schools, and hospitals.

Key features of the FC600 include AI capabilities such as People Detection and Intrusion Detection for human targets, as well as Audio Detection to enhance response times to incidents and reduce the need for human monitoring. The camera supports People Counting and provides counting reports when used with Synology Surveillance Station. It is compatible with both on-premises Surveillance Station and the cloud platform Surveillance365, depending on organizational needs.

The FC600 supports ONVIF for integration with NVR and VMS systems from other manufacturers, ensuring security through video transmission with HTTPS and SRTP. It also includes privacy masking and recording file encryption, adhering to NDAA standards. The FC600 is now available through Synology's partners and distributors.
