ChatGPT, from OpenAI, leads the ranking of the most demanded artificial intelligence (AI) tools in job vacancies in Brazil. The tool was cited in 831 announcements analyzed between January and August 2026, more than double the mentions of the second place, Claude. The data comes from a survey by Catho.
The volume of appearances of ChatGPT in selection processes suggests that knowledge in generative AI is no longer a differential but is becoming an increasingly common skill in hiring criteria.
Claude occupies the second position, with 394 announcements. Following it is Google Gemini, cited in 391 vacancies. The n8n, a workflow automation tool, recorded 313 mentions and surpassed Microsoft Copilot, which completes the ranking with 217 opportunities.
The complete list, according to Catho, highlights the trend that automation competencies are also consolidating as requirements in selection processes seeking professionals familiar with AI. The presence of n8n among the five most mentioned tools emphasizes this shift.
In addition to generative AI assistants, the survey points out the notable presence of n8n in job announcements, indicating that skills related to process automation are becoming essential in hiring.
The data reflects a significant shift in the job market, where familiarity with AI technologies is increasingly prioritized by employers seeking qualified candidates.
