elseif reads 71 feeds. Each carries an editorial weight that multiplies one component of the signal score. Primary engineering write-ups outrank rewrite desks, and the number is published here rather than kept internal.
How a feed gets added
Most were chosen by hand. The rest are found automatically: when a story elseif already ranks links out to a domain repeatedly, that domain is probed for a feed, scored on how much of its output is technical and how steadily it publishes, and promoted only if it clears the bar. Feeds that stop responding are retried for a while and then disabled.
How a feed gets removed
A feed is dropped if it goes dark, starts publishing mostly non-technical material, or turns out to be republishing other feeds rather than reporting. Aggregators we already read are permanently excluded from discovery so the same story cannot be counted twice as corroboration.
