The iFood Ads platform is using AI agents to cut the time needed to produce advertising reports from two days to about one hour. According to Ana Paula Duarte, senior operations director, the entire team already uses these tools and the company is testing new applications to increase automation. The AI agents support data analysis, preparation of commercial materials, and campaign optimization. They also help create and optimize ad creatives, generate multiple versions of campaigns, and conduct A/B tests to identify the best performing ad variations. The strategy leverages purchase intent signals to reach consumers who are near a buying decision, aligning advertising more closely with consumption contexts.

The iFood Ads platform is described as a media of intent that connects industries with audiences at the moment of purchase decision. The operation reports an average return on ad spend of 5.5 or higher, depending on the advertised category, and has shown improvement in this metric over the past year. The company acquired Advolve in 2025 to expand campaign automation to external platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Meta services. This expansion allows advertisers to run campaigns both within the iFood app and on off-site environments. The company emphasizes data governance, privacy, and compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law when using audience data across platforms.

A planned live commerce initiative for Black Friday will feature live streams from November 23 to 27, produced in a studio at Shopping Tamboré in São Paulo, bringing together content creators and brand partners. The company aims to automate nearly all operational processes, maintaining human intervention only where absolutely necessary to generate better results for clients.
