Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, announced that it has acquired the AI-focused coding initiative Conductor. The amount paid for the acquisition is currently unknown. Recently, the company has been gaining more attention in the AI race, particularly in software development and coding. Meta recently released the open-weight "Muse Spark Open" model, and prior to that, it launched the high-level AI models series "Muse Wonder." Conductor develops solutions that allow users to deploy multiple AI agents in parallel workspaces for software development.

Conductor's CEO expressed excitement about future plans and collaboration with Meta's AI lead and the product head at Superintelligence Labs.
