Samsung predicts achieving an operational profit of 107.40 trillion won in the third quarter of 2026, equivalent to 426 billion BRL based on the current exchange rate. If confirmed, this projection would mark the company's first time surpassing 100 trillion won.
The projected profit for the period between July and September shows an increase of nearly 800% compared to the third quarter of 2025, when the company recorded 12.17 trillion won, approximately 45.4 billion BRL. This figure also exceeds the 89.49 trillion won from the second quarter.
The expected revenue for the third quarter is also significant, with Samsung estimating sales of 195 trillion won, approximately 728.8 billion BRL. This surpasses the 171.5 trillion won from the previous quarter and more than doubles the 86.06 trillion won from the same period in 2025.
While the semiconductor business is expected to contribute to this historic performance, other divisions are reportedly underperforming. However, the smartphone segment may benefit from the upcoming launch of the new Galaxy Z foldable generation in August.
Based on internal data, these official projections are considered credible, despite the potential for variances. The financial report detailing the quarterly results is set to be released by the end of October.
