Hélio Bruck Rotenberg, from Positivo Tecnologia, stated that the future of artificial intelligence will combine cloud, corporate servers, and local data processing.

For over three decades, both Positivo Tecnologia and IT Forum have emerged during the first significant decentralization of computing. Personal computers removed processing from mainframes and placed it on people's desks. In the following two decades, this movement reversed, with the cloud concentrating data and intelligence in global data centers. Now, artificial intelligence inaugurates a third chapter that will not be written in a single place.

The cloud will remain essential. Hyperscalers will continue training large models and offering capacity on a global scale. However, alongside it, corporate servers will process sensitive information within organizations. The AI PC will restore a leading role to personal computers after decades, functioning as a node of intelligence capable of operating on local data, responding in milliseconds, and even working without connectivity.

In this country, this reality is already grounded. At Positivo Tecnologia, state-of-the-art IT infrastructure is developed because corporate AI needs to operate close to context. Servers, AI PCs, and IT services assist corporations in determining what should go to the cloud, remain in the data center, or be on the edge. Concrete examples already exist, such as a hospital analyzing tests without patient data leaving the institution and a student with a personalized tutor operating even where connectivity is poor. In all cases, value does not arise from the model but from the intersection between the model and the right context.

It is in this combination of intelligence, proximity, and mastery of context that artificial intelligence will transition from a technological promise to a strategic advantage, measured in value for people, productivity for companies, and sovereignty for the country.
