Epic Games has postponed the launch of its new shooter game that collaborates with Disney, reportedly integrating characters from Marvel and Star Wars. This delay moves the release from its original date in March 2027. Currently, there is no information on a new launch schedule. The reason for the postponement is significant; Jason Schreier, a game journalist from Bloomberg, reported that Epic intends to develop the game entirely using artificial intelligence, with human involvement limited to oversight and without manual coding.

Consequently, the company needs to revise its development processes to enhance AI integration in the workflow. If this information is accurate, this game will be the first major title from a prominent studio (Epic) created entirely with AI.

Earlier this year, Epic Games laid off 1,000 employees, citing a decrease in players for Fortnite, which may explain the company's shift toward AI-driven game development.
