Adobe acquires marketing intelligence startup Rilo, shuts down product and integrates six-person team
Adobe acquired India-based marketing intelligence startup Rilo in a deal involving licensing and team acquisition, gaining a six-member team and some IP while shutting down Rilo's product for existing customers.
Rilo's workflow automation technology, covering competitor intelligence, content repurposing, and sales call analysis, could be folded into Adobe's marketing and CX suite as the company targets larger customers. The deal gives Rilo's investors an exit and marks Adobe's second acquisition from India after Rephrase.ai in 2023.
