Azure Virtual Desktop Hybrid is now generally available, allowing session hosts to run on customer hardware via Azure Arc while brokering remains in Azure, but the service license pricing is unpublished and multi-session Windows is not supported.
Organizations cannot evaluate the cost of Hybrid against a full cloud deployment because Microsoft has not published the service license fee. The requirement for RDS CALs with Software Assurance and the absence of multi-session Windows support restrict deployment scenarios and increase per-user compute requirements on hardware the customer must supply.
