BotBase for Operators: A clearer path to joining Cloudflare's directory of bots and agents

Bot operators can now submit, track, edit, and view the status of their bots in a dedicated BotBase section of the Cloudflare dashboard.
The new interface removes the previous black-box experience, letting operators see whether a bot entry is waiting, accepted, or rejected without contacting support. Keeping bot metadata current also influences a bot’s Verified status, which site owners may rely on when allowing automated traffic.

A new BotBase for Operators page is placed under Protect & Connect → Application Security in the Cloudflare dashboard.
Submission history shows each bot’s status, waiting for review, accepted, or rejected, and lets operators edit or cancel pending entries.
The intake form now requires a behavior and content-use description, aligning submissions with Cloudflare’s taxonomy for more accurate classification.
