The beta rollout means the service is publicly accessible but not yet guaranteed to meet production-grade uptime or feature completeness.

From an integration standpoint, teams will need to call the Muse Code API from their command-line tools, handling token accounting to stay within budget. The disclosed pricing, $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens, translates directly into operational cost, so large codebases or frequent generation could accrue noticeable expense. Engineers must also implement fallback logic for cases where the service is unavailable or returns sub-optimal code, given the beta status.

The primary limitation is that Muse Code is designed for coding tasks only; attempts to use it for non-code prompts will likely yield poor results or be rejected. Additionally, because the model runs in the cloud, any environment without reliable internet access cannot use it, and latency may affect interactive workflows. Finally, the beta label suggests that API contracts, pricing, or model behavior could change before a full release, requiring developers to monitor announcements and adapt their integrations accordingly.
