Norway's first adventure games
This is a digital preservation recovery that corrects the historical record—previously available details about these games were vague and largely wrong. For engineers interested in computing history or software archaeology, it demonstrates that significant code from the minicomputer era can still be located and restored decades later.

SVHA Adventure is an expanded version of the original Colossal Cave Adventure, developed for Norsk Data minicomputers at NTH in Trondheim in 1979.
Ringen is an original text adventure set in the Mines of Moria from Lord of the Rings, developed at UiT in Tromsø a couple of years later.
Working copies of both games are now available online, despite neither having been accessible on the internet before this recovery effort.
