Nvidia released PAIR, a free open-source tool that discovers and connects idle computers on a home network to run local AI inference tasks in parallel.
Engineers with multiple GPUs sitting idle at home can now pool them for local AI workloads without manual orchestration. This lowers the barrier to running agentic workflows locally by distributing subtasks across available hardware that adapts as devices join or leave.

PAIR is free, open-source software that discovers compatible PCs on a network and coordinates them for local AI inference.
It supports Nvidia RTX 20-series and newer GPUs, RTX Pro GPUs, DGX Spark systems, and Apple M4 or newer chips.
Devices are secured via six-digit code pairing and mTLS encryption, and the beta is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
