A GUI front-end experiment repurposes the Skred sound engine as a digital-delay-style audio effect.
Engineers can now treat Skred as an effect module rather than only a synth, opening a path to integrate it into existing signal chains. Because the parameters follow the Korg DW-8000 delay architecture, the control scheme is familiar to users of that hardware, but it also means the knobs are not expressed in standard time or feedback units.
