M5Stack released PaperMono, an ESP32-S3R8-based E-Ink development terminal with a 3.97-inch 4-level grayscale display, touch, frontlight, and connectivity options, available in a full version with NFC and LoRa and a Lite version without them.
This gives hardware developers an integrated platform for low-power E-Ink projects that combines display, touch, connectivity, and battery in one device, reducing integration work for IoT and signage applications. The Lite version offers a lower-cost path for projects that don't need NFC or LoRa radios.
