Salesforce has acquired Listen Labs, a startup that develops an artificial intelligence platform for customer behavior research. The acquisition is expected to enhance Salesforce's customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities by providing deeper insights into customer decision-making compared to traditional survey methods.
Alfred Wahlforss, the CEO and co-founder of Listen Labs, stated that every business wants to hear thoughts from all customers, but effective application methods are limited. The company has developed a system that uses artificial intelligence to learn from real-world situations and design experimental models to predict customer decisions at various stages.
The deal has not disclosed an official value, but reports suggest it is around 2 billion dollars. The acquisition is expected to further integrate AI-driven insights into Salesforce's offerings, enhancing their ability to serve clients effectively.
